During your first visit time will be spent taking a medical history, which will include questions about your general health and lifestyle as well as asking you about the symptoms or injury that you are seeking help with. With your consent a physical examination will be performed. This will involve an assessment of your movement, posture, muscles and joints and any other areas of your body that are experiencing pain.
Test results such as x-rays and scan reports will also be checked if these are available.
To enable us to assess and treat more effectively, It may be necessary to ask you to remove some clothing. Please dress comfortably, wearing shorts and a t-shirt if you wish, and be assured that your modesty will always be respected.
Your diagnosis will be explained to you alongside your treatment plan.
Our specialist treatments include Osteopathy, Medical Acupuncture, 1-2-1 corrective exercise plans and Cosmetic Acupuncture. Treatment is dependent on each individual patient and their condition. The type of treatment and techniques used will be explained to you. Some patients may experience aching or some discomfort for a short period following treatment.

You are entitled to bring along a chaperone to the consultation should you wish to do so. Any patient under the age of 16 should be accompanied by a chaperone.

We understand that occasionally you are unable to keep your appointment. Please give us 24 hours notice should you need to cancel/rearrange, so that your appointment can be offered to someone else.
Less than 24 hours notice may incur a charge of £20
Less than 12 hours notice will incur a charge of £40
